Quart has been fighting cancer since he was 17 years of age and has learned to really live.  Come and listen to an inspirational story of courage and perseverance.  Purple Logo

In these approximately 30 years, Quart has undergone 10 life threatening surgeries.  He has lost a kidney, left adrenal gland, two ribs, and has about six feet of scars!  He has been told that he is one of the world's three longest living survivors of this incredibly rare and deadly form of cancer.  His most recent surgery was this last December.  He currently has tumors in his liver. The name of the illness is metastatic pheochromacytomas.

Quart does not take life for granted and will be talking about how his illness has impacted his life and the lives of his family members and how the Lord Jesus Christ has strengthened each of their lives through their many trials.

Quart and his wife Carrie, have four children who are each very accomplished. Quart says that Carrie is the crown of his life and that she is his better half by almost any measure.  And her beauty still takes Quart's breath away!

Quart is from Spring, Texas and he moved around a lot as a young kid and ended up in Texas as a teenager.  He came to know Christ at the age of 21 at the University of Texas, which changed him inside out!!!

Quart has many passions including weightlifting and exercising, martial arts, prison ministry, is a weekend rancher and has helped to plant a new church. He is involved in the community having served and currently serving on, several boards and various organizations.

Quart's business experience includes earning both a BBA and a MBA from the University of Texas at Austin.  He served as an Army reservist with an MOS in military intelligence.

Quart spent 18 years in corporate America:
·    Ran a $300 million business for 12 years at Solvay Polymers,
·    Was President of DCSS, a local IT consulting firm with 260 employees, and
·    He was a Director in IT at BMC Software.

He sees his 18 years in corporate America as having been a rich training ground as God prepared him for his career with Chick-fil-A.   Quart currently owns and operates two Chick-fil-As - one in Greatwood and the other in Rosenberg.

Serves as part of Chick-fil-A's Winshape International team.  Last year Quart went to Africa (Burkina Faso and Ghana) and recently returned from a trip to China in April.  On these trips they teach Chick-fil-A's leadership model called SERVE which is a leadership model based on servant leadership deeply rooted in biblical principals.  In China they made 8 presentations to over 1,100 people.
